CRBB 1.0

DCI-Practical-Guide-EN-coverCRBB1.0 took place from 2014 to 2016. Its main result was the publication of a Practical Guide to monitor places where children are deprived of liberty. The Guide has now been used as guidelines by many montoring bodies in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of their monitoring visits.

This Practical Guide is based on:

- National researches regarding the existence, the functionning and the efficiency of monitoring and complaint mechanisms related to places where children are deprived of liberty in 14 European countries and on one common report setting forth the results of the above-mentioned researches and giving an overview of practices at the European level;

- The expertise of 11 international experts, partners, associated partners involved in the project;

- The European and international standards applicable;

- The results of 3 international seminars and 1 European conference.
