Handbook

The main output of the CRBB2.0 project is the Handbook: Reintegration and Rights from a participatory perspective - innovative practice examples in EU countries.

It is an easy reading and practical document which helps professionals to foster children's rights in places where they are deprived of liberty thanks to tested and approved good practices.

Firstly, the handbook gives an overview on the context in which the activities took place in each country. Secondly, there are is a general presentation of the activities which are followed by specific practical tools, called idea sheets. These idea sheets are essential parts of the handbook as it provides professionals with concrete suggestions and guidelines on how to implement activities in the following three different key areas of actions:

- the capacity building of professionals working in places where children are deprived of liberty;

- the participation and empowerment of children deprived of liberty; and

- the improvement of the reintegration process.
