  • Copies in English, French, Italian, Polish and Spanish of the Pracital Guide  are printed and published on the project website and disseminated, among others, during the European conclusion seminar. This enables a wide dissemination of the guide at the European and International levels.

  • Development of self-improvement/assessment tools by and for professionals working in places where children are deprived of liberty. This paves the way for an improvement and harmonisation of the conditions of detention. There was 12 meetings in 2 different institutions within each partner country. Each meeting gathered approximately 15 professionals.

  • Training of monitoring bodies and, in particular, Parlementarians and Children Ombudsmen. A specific adaptation of the Practical Guide was developped for this target audience.

  • The children self-expression skills were strenghtened in order to enable them to participate to the drafting of child-friendly material on their rights when they are deprived of liberty. It helps children to look at the places where they are and think about what should be improved in order to foster their reintegration. Around 8 workshops were organised within two institutions in each partner countries including at least two institutions for girls.

  • Foster a comprehensive collaboration of all institutions and services involved in the reintegration/resettlement plan within the juvenile justice system in order to reduce the number of children deprived of liberty. There were several workshops in each partner country gathering around 15 professionals (judges, prosecutors, lawyers, administration officers, directors, medical staff, educative staff, social workers and services,...).

  • Draf of national reports including the results of the activities regarding the self-improvement/assessment tools, child-friendly materials and the protocols of collaboration.

  • A handbook gathering the results, best practical tools, recommendations and conclusions of the national reports.

  • 2 seminars gathering the partners in order to have the opportunity for the partners to exchange and to make sure that the project is reaching its objectives.

  • 1 European conclusion seminar to present and disseminate the results of the whole project
